Satoshi Nakamoto, is the name used by the person who designed and wrote on how to implement the Bitcoin. Different theories are envisaged about the elusive creator. It is said it was in 2008 that the creator had published a research paper called “Bitcoin, a Peer to Peer Electronic Cash System” in a cryptography mailing list. It is still unknown if it is a creator or creators that are behind this invention.
The first transaction of bitcoin was done by a programmer named Hal Finney. He received 10 bitcoins from Nakamoto when he installed the software. It was in 2010 that several irregularities came out in the open. Transactions were being recorded without proper verification.
Satoshi Nakamoto was a big contributor on cryptography forums where he had discussed openly about bitcoin
until he simply disappeared from the internet in 2012. He or she had not revealed any personal information in any of their contributions. It has become a sort of guessing game about the creator.
But with the popularity of bitcoin increasing, it is likely that the inventor will open out and reappear sooner or later.
